Meals: Cadets are to have breakfast before coming for the course. Lunch will be at their own expenses.

Registration will be on a first-come-first serve basis
2. RED CROSS YOUTH CURRENT AFFAIRS COMPETITION 2007
Date: Saturday, 28 July 2007
Theme: disaster preparedness in local and worldwide context.
Objectives of the competition are:
(1) To motivate the Red Cross Youth members to play an active role in understanding the Current Affairs of the Red Cross in both local and worldwide context
(2) To allow the knowledge on disaster preparation to be shared by the participants and non-participating cadets through the preparation and the competition itself
Closing date: before Friday, 11 May 2007.

4. RED CROSS YOUTH DIRECTOR'S AWARD NOMINATION AND CADETS' RECOGNITION DAY 2007
One nominated cadet from our unit will receive the Director's Award and ONE BONUS CCA point.
The Director's Award badge is to be worn on the right side of the Red Cross uniform, above the nametag and incentive badges.
B) RED CROSS YOUTH CADETSÂ’ RECOGNITION DAY 2007
Date: 14th July 2007
Time: 1pm to 4pm

All teacher-officers and graduating cadets will be invited to this event.
5. PARTICIPATING ON THE AIDS CANDLELIGHT MEMORIAL SERVICE 2007
Organised by the Action For AIDS (AFA), this is an annual international event held to remember those who have died from AIDS. The Memorial provides an opportunity to come to terms with death and AIDS. It has become a powerful symbol of the presence of AIDS in Singapore, and a timely reminder for the community & Singaporeans at large to renew its commitment to fight AIDS discrimination.
